As a member of the Museum Society you help to support the work of the museum.

What You Can Do For Us
We depend on our volunteers for all aspects of running the Museum. These include
administration, conservation, research, publicity, education, information technology, maintaining
the building, fund-raising and arranging social events.
A key task is taking charge of the reception desk so that the Museum can
open. Many of our volunteers enjoy the sociable Wednesday morning sessions when much of the
practical work is done or planned.
We are pleased to use any skills you may have, and can provide training in some
specialised areas.

Do you pay Income Tax? If so, by completing the Gift Aid Declaration, the Museum
can recover, from the Inland Revenue, 28p for every £1 of your subscription or any donations
you make to the Museum.
