Our Fundraising Drive
The Museum Society is currently involved in a major fundraising
drive. A total of £1.6 million needs to be raised for the project to build and
fit out a new museum.
Below you will find various ways you can help us raise these
funds.
Make a Donation through Charity Choice or by Cheque
|
To contribute to the new museum fund, please click on the
Donate Now button on the left to make a secure donation through
Charity Choice.
If you pay Income Tax, please complete the Gift Aid Declaration
when making your donation. The Museum can then recover, from the Inland Revenue,
28p for every £1 you give to the Museum.
If you would prefer to donate by sending a cheque, please
to download and print off our donation form. Again, please complete the Gift Aid
Declaration section of the form so that we can recover 28p for each £1 you give.
|
|
Adopt a Flint or a Brick
You can also contribute to the new museum by adopting a
Flint for £5 or a Brick for £1.
As part of our fundraising programme we have printed 1000 of
each type of adoption card. Please
to download a form to use to buy adoption cards.
|
|
The cards will then be sent to you to complete and
return to the Museum Society. If you are a UK taxpayer, please
complete the Gift Aid section on the card so that the Museum can
recover, from the Inland Revenue, 28p for every £1 of your purchase.
All adoptions will be recorded in the new museum.
