Update Sessions for Volunteers and Members

In late January, Rosemary Hagedorn will be holding two update sessions for volunteers and members.  The sessions are the same, so people should only attend one of the sessions.  She will run through the latest management organisation charts, and update people on the progress of the New Museum Project.

Space will be limited so, if you wish to attend one of these sessions, please email Diane Pyant as soon as possible at dpyant@tiscali.co.uk.  Please state any preference regarding the session you wish to attend.

Scenic Flights over Arundel

Mark Phillips, one of our volunteers, has arranged a reduced price for AMS members and their guests on pleasure flights from Shoreham Airport.  It is a 30-35 minute River, Kings & Castles package, the route takes in Shoreham, Worthing, Arundel Castle, and Littlehampton, and it includes 8-10 minutes circling Arundel.  Each flight takes three passengers, and everyone has a window seat.  There will be ample opportunity for taking photos.

The discounted cost will be less than £50 per person (to be paid on the day), based on plane loads of 3 passengers, and interest by 15 people or more in total.

To assist with administration, please apply with groups of three people if possible, although Mark is happy to accept single applications and will group these in threes where possible.

It will be the responsibility of a nominated leader of each group of three to arrange the flying date and time with the operators, Brighton Scenic, and to liaise with other members of the group.

To find out more about their flights and planes, please click here to visit the Brighton Scenic website.  Or you can email Mark at kiasu1960@gmail.com.

If you want to make a booking, click here to download a form to edit using Microsoft Word.  When complete, save it, attach it to an email, and send it to kiasu1960@gmail.com (click on Mark's email address to open a pre-addressed email).
